Sermon Subject: Don’t fear of things that happen suddenly
Our God has many personalities. In this lesson, let’s learn more about God being spontaneous and
impulsive.
1. In the Bible; Old and New Testament, we often see God who reveals himself suddenly: Malachi 3:1, Matthew
2:9, Luke 8:23
2. In our lives, many situations happen suddenly Genesis 22:13, Joshua 5:13
3. Real life testimony: In the last year, our family experienced many sudden and unexpected things
4. God is never late
5. Always connect with God Proverb 3:25
What I’ve learned
1. Never say words that complain about God, because I know in all things God works for the good
(Romans 8:28). There must be God’s good will behind
2. Always seek God, always pray
3. Be quite and wait
4. Sensitive to God’s guidance
5. In critical situation, bring out specific prayer items. Develop spiritual partnership in a regular
basis
Discussion
1. When you fear of things happen suddenly, how to avoid saying words of doubt and complaint?
2. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) In the past, was there any testimonies of this
verse?
3. In church or any other community, do you have spiritual partners? When big things happen
suddenly, will there be people pray with you? If not, how to establish it?
