Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

John 15:5

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

  1. Preface: “The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it is called the present.” ― Alice Morse Earle

No matter whether you are satisfied with your life or achievements in 2017, let’s not live in the regrets of yesterday, let’s choose to live in today, live in the moment, work hard to move forward and don’t look back!

  1. Yesterday is history, even though we should not linger around the successes or failures in the past, we shall learn lessons from history and choose not to be an unwise person.
  1. Typically, those who come to the Church willingly has the wisdom to make plans, however, most problems still cannot be solved. Why is that? We aimed too high. Can you find which type you are from below:

Seeking perfection; lack of action or capability to perform; too optimistic; being used to delay actions; lazy?

  1. Admitting to sins does not equal repentance, scripture has “repentance” as “METANOEO”, which means the change of thoughts and ideas, take a step further, it means the change of personal values. One’s behavior does not change until his/hers personal values change!

Let’s practice to put God first when setting our personal goals for next year. We ought to place ourselves in the secret place within the highest (God), because the world is changing too fast and too greatly. John 15:5 stated “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
